__GENERAL AWARENESS__This section comprises 50 questions and these ques could be easily solved by lilttile efforts..just give an hour daily to be updated with current affairs

Read daily newspaper. If possible make a diary n note down imp points n news daily in the diary

Try to watch one news bulletin on DD news channel daily

Pratiyogita darpan monthly issue is must

__COMPUTER AWARENESS__This section also has 50 ques n u can score gud marks in this section in very less time..questions are also easy..but recent trends shows that computer section has some tricky questions although questions are easy but u need to read the questions very carefully before answering them.

Buy a book from any publication(BSC or Arihant) of MCQs on computer...n solve the past papers of computers..its enough to score good marks..

__ENGLISH__Solve past papers

__REASONING ABILITY__BOOK: analytical reasoning from BSC publication by M K Pandey (ch no 12 to 19 r very imp)

For syllogism use method of venn diagram. There is a thread named ‘basics of syllogism’ in bankpo.in website. You can chek that this method is explained there

For non verbal reasoning you can search for videos on you tube. Just type ‘nonverbal reasoning shortcuts’ in the search bar of youtube.

Some short tricks of nonverbal reasoning:

· 1=5, 2=6

· 1-2-3, 4-5-6

· 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-6

· 1-3-5, 2-4-6

· 1-4, 2-5, 3-6

· 1=2, 3=4, 5=6

For puzzles: try to make every possible diagram or figure to solve a puzzle n read every line carefully

__QUANTITATIVE ABILITY__Learb tables upto 20 or 25

Learn Squares upto minimum 30. It would be much better if u can learn upto 50.

Learn Cubes upto 20

There are some threads on maths shortcuts on bankpo.in website and some videos on youtube

At exam time try to score more in GA & CA as these are the two sections where you can score very good marks in less time.

Suggested strategy. You can develop your own strategy according to ur strengths n weaknesses

GA: 15 mins

CA: 15 mins

English: 25 mins

Allocate rest time to maths n reasoning.

Advices are welcomed for the above strategy..

__Square any number ending with 5__Example: 352 = 1225

ist step: write 52 i.e, 25 as the rright part of ans

IInd step : left part of the ans would be 3*4”(1st digit*its consecutive digit)

__Square root__Example: sqrt 1521

First of all u should learn squares from 1 to 10

Now look at last digit of the ques..here it is 1..which is either in the square of 1 or of 9

Now take all the digits of ques except last 2 digits..here it is 15

12 is less than square of 4 and more than square of 3..we pick the lower one out of these two(4&3). So ans would be either 31 or 39(as we came to know that 1 comes either in 1 or 9 in first step)

Now find the square of 35. It is 1225 and our number is 1521 which is greater than 1225..so we will take greater one that is 9

So our ans would be 39

__Cube root__Same as square root..but now we need to learn cubes from 1 to 10

Example: cubrt 1728

First of all u should learn squares from 1 to 10

Now look at last digit of the ques..here it is 8..which is either in the cubes of 2

Now take all the digits of ques except last 3 digits..here it is 1 which would be cube of 1

So our ans would be 12

__Solving linear equations__Ex : 7x+3y=17

5x+2y=12

X= ( 12*3-17*2)/(3*5-7*2)

36-34/15-14 = 2

Put the value of x in any equation n find out y

Special case: “ if one is in ratio, then the either one is zero”

Ex: 2x+3y=8

4x+17y=16

Here the coefficient of x in two equations are 2 and 4 and these are in the ratio that is 1:2 and same is with the figures in the right side of equation(that is 8&16 are in the ratio 1:2)

So in such a case either one that is the one which is not in ratio that is y would be zero

X= 8/2 or 16/4 = 4
